So I looked up Twitter tan to see what she would look like, and I was sad to find no examples on DA, and the only example here at the OStan Wiki to be severely underdeveloped.

I'm sorry that she's not prepubescent or overly cute, but that's just not how I roll. I asked myself what Twitterers (or the modern internet user who blogs, texts, and stays connected) look like and how best to stylise the modern look. I gave her feathers. I seriously don't understand why the wiki version has cat ears when Twitter's avatar is a bird. It just seems obvious to me.

Let me know what you think. Does the wiki version get dibs for being first or does mine make more sense? Or should more people take a crack at it?

Finally, yeah, I know how some people feel about twitter, but I think that's beside the point here. ;p

I think they should be a pairing, reading about why the Cat one exists makes sense, the cat one should be a little errand girl for this one. XD

Why does the cat one exist? I mean, she's probably very cute (I couldn't find any good pictures) it's just that her symbols don't make much sense, and it seems like every other mascot on the internet is a cat girl. The artist could have used the opportunity to do something different.

Which isn't to say that there's anything wrong with a pairing. I'm sure that would be very cute. =)

The cat exists because Twitter sometimes uses a LOLcats style image of a cat with a screwdriver when they're working on the servers. The main problem I see with the Twitter-Tan being that cat is that Twitter's icon is a bird, which is where yours hits closer to being a real Twitter-Tan.

It's why I say the Twitter Cat would be a good assistant to Twitter-Tan, but not the actual Tan.
