I had a dream last night that involved the Sailor Moon and the other senshi, and in this dream their costumes were entirely different. There were ruffles, their hair hardly resembled their canonical coiffures, and it all took place in and around the new U.S.S Enterprise. Strange, I know.

Anyway, I didn't want to forget these ideas, although it's much too late for most of them. I've doodled some of the designs down. The strongest one in my head was Sailor Mars.

I don't know what to do with these ideas, but as I was rewatching the series recently, there's a scene in which Kunzite surprises the senshi in a cave as they are on their way to confront Queen Beryl. He hits them with his black energy and their outfits are all torn up. Sailor Moon says to him that even if he bought them "new couture outfits" she would never forgive him for ruining a girl's outfit.

I'm not sure if my mind just picked up on that in my sleep, but I guess these are just my take on that idea. I'll post more eventually.
