Haha, just kiddin'!

I know I've disappeared multiple times in the past, deleting or storing everything I've done, but I assure you that in no way did I ever intend to give the impression that I was dead. That was all part of a habit I have of destroying things when I'm extremely upset. I did this to my toys as a child, and for this first time on the internet when I was 14 by deleting everything I'd ever saved off the internet and all of my old emails. One time, I destroyed a book, and another I cut off all of my hair.

I don't do this nearly as often anymore, the last time having been two years ago when I was going through some crap. I deleted all of the entries from my blog.

Oddly, I feel better when I go through these purges, but it's hardly healthy that my anguish builds up and explodes so dramatically in the first place.

Anyway, in reference to the article, I've known people who faked illnesses and death, and reading the article was like reliving the experience. That's not something I would do to anyone. I've been an idiot in the past, but rest assured, I'm not that desperate. I would be surprised if anyone showed up on my page to inform you of my death. Strangely, as important as this community is to me, there are few people in my real life who even remember that I have it when it comes up in conversation.

I just remembered! The day before my mom's wedding to my step dad, when I was 12, I got hit in the head really hard with a branch. It left a scar. Anyway, I played a prank on my cousins by pretending to go progressively blind over the course of the day, revealing my joke toward dusk by walking confidently away from their grasp. They both pretended to have known the whole time and no one seemed hurt by it. I think I was getting back at them for laughing at me when it happened. I was pretty upset about having a scar on my face.

That's the closest I've come to anything like faking illness or death.
