I know there're probably a million things wrong with this but there comes a point where you have to put down your pen because you literally cannot command your eyes to focus on the image. So I apologize if there are just things that you can see that I can't.

I referenced the colors and style of the background from the intro animation and used lots of references from official art to get the character's color scheme. The fire was especially challenging for whatever reason and at one point after I had completely drawn and colored it and added effects, I erased the whole thing and redrew it from scratch. I think it was worth the effort. It's still not %100, but I feel like it's a major improvement.

I don't have anything to say about the whirlwind.

I also originally wanted to include Mako and Bolin in the composition but I felt like the central image was ambitious enough as it was for someone who already has a lot of other stuff going on. I've wanted to do a Korra fanart since the original press materials were released, so it's pretty overdue.
